National Church Mobilization Initiative (NCMI)

We launched this initiative in Freetown in 2023, and in the process commissioned operation 1000 care for orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). Ambassadors to move forwarded in their communities to serve OVCs. During 2022, the Ambassador Movement provided impart to 1000 OVCs, and closed the year serving 1000 OVCs.

Our experience with the Great Commandment goes back many years of time in our ministry work. You may say that we have been a Great Commandment ministry from our beginnings as we set out to joyfully serve OVCs. Jesus was questions, ‘’ Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?’’ Christ Jesus replied ‘’you most love the Lord your Father (God) with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is, equally joyfully important: Love your neighbor as yourself. The entire law all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments. Matthew 22:36-40.

Early on we were doers of the word even through our experience had not fully equipped us to accomplish this sort of work. We were able to move forward with confidence based on our faith. It is fairly easy to discern from the scriptures that His church is to be about the work of the loving our neighbors. Now I used the capital ‘’C’’ here, but the Church is you. This should be a wake-up call for every one of us.

Today, 75% of the churches are not responding to the great commission due to the scarcity mindset, and limitations that they somehow project on to God and His Son Jesus Christ our beloved Lord.

Note: The word Church referred to as the bride of Christ. Therefore, it is very existence, nurturing, and care for the Church are very important to HIM.

Have this basis for our Great Commandment Movement; it is known as ‘’ Pure Religion. Pure and genuine religion in the eyes of God the Father means caring for Orphans and Widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27

Great Commandment Qualifiers
There are no commandment from God and His Son Jesus that qualifiers or Socio-economic exemption. There are no Great Commandment qualifiers based on race, income, nationality, tribe, or any other identifying factor. No, as the faithful we are to love the Lord our God the Father with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind, and to love our neighbor, your neighbor as ourself regardless of our circumstance. Only difference is in how we might carry out His mandate. According to the scriptures, we are His hands and feet, the salt of the earth, and we are to bring the great Light to dark places

The Body
We are the body, but have different gifts. Each of us is uniquely created with a purpose. We may live in different locations. We also speak different languages; we each have different spheres of influence. We also we different levels of educational experiences or achievement within our trib.

Most of us will not attack the work of helping the OVCs/poor in the same way, same place, at the same scale, same space, or with the same knowledge, but we together make up a great body of Christ and we each have a role to play.

Our great mandate to love our neighbor, and since love is an action, this means to serve others. It is our responsibility you might say, A demonstration of our faith that cannot be accomplished without the love of Christ living through us.

Our Father, the God has given you something to work with; skills, influence, experience, resources, and a Vision. If you are not already involved in serving others, I would like to encourage you to put your hands to the work and see how the Father blesses you in the process.

Learn to do good, Seek Justice. Help the oppressed.
Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows Isaiah 1:17

Our goal is simple: To provide loving support for OVCs, fostering a greater capacity for physical, Spiritual, and Emotional healing and Growth

What does it mean to be apart of the Movement of One Day for National OVCs Relief?
It is a connection of like-minded people; funding partners, volunteers, prayer warriors, and our Field Partners,  working in concert for the care of orphaned children. Most often, we are inspired to move forward by our Faith. It is about people, our Partners, doing something good and beautiful. GO! Is a place that you can fit right in!

How would you describe National OVCs Relief as a One Purpose of Hope?
Our Goal to care for the orphaned child often provides One Purpose to these children for the very first time. Humanity is far more motivated by a vision of the future rather than reflecting on the past. You can be a Voice of Purpose today by connecting with GO!

How is an Act of One Voice at National OVCs realized?
Based on the needs in the field and the capacity of our partners, the demonstration of One Voice of Love can take many forms. This can mean a home with a loving family, the opportunity to attend school, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities for maximum impact for the child’s optimum outcomes.
As we act on the behalf of these children, it is the ultimate demonstration of God’s One voice of Love for them, without conditions.
