Philosophy

The Minah Academy Mission has been reaching out to the orphans, vulnerable children and the poor community/people of inner country, Sierra Leone since 2012. We are a Christian, nonprofit, non-denominational Gospel ministry. Our primary objective is the evangelization of every person who enters the mission.

Secondly, our goal is to provide food, clothing, shelter, and a five-day drug and alcohol unit is designed to accommodate alcohol and drug addicted children and youths in their most desperate condition.

We are a faith based ministry, relying on the Lord’s provision. The mission receives no government funding or government surplus foods, charges nothing to the people who come (regardless of the colours), and has no clothing store, but rather gives away freely all donated clothing. God supports the mission through churches, individuals, and businesses, in answer to the prayer of faith.

What is our purpose?

The great, central purpose and duty of the Minah Academy Mission is to proclaim the “unsearchable riches” of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:8-9); to seek the salvation of the lost; to instruct believers in the Word of God; to conduct gospel and Bible teaching services; to feed, clothe, and help the needy; and to foster, promote and encourage all phases of general rescue mission work.
